Enjoy a unique opportunity to spend the weekend in a French Chateau. Chantilly offers a classy combination of chateau, park and forest that has long made it a popular destination. Ideally suited for discovering the surrounding area, the château is a great base for a stylish stay, and very close to Paris.
Day 1 We depart early morning from your local pick up point and travel to Dover for the short sea crossing to Calais. We will arrive in Chantilly mid-afternoon in good time to explore the château and grounds before our evening meal.
Day 2 Morning guided tour of Paris showing the main sights of the city, such as the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees and the Louvre. Afternoon is free to explore more fully at leisure. Or you maybe able to take a river trip on the Seine, returning to our château for our evening dinner.
Day 3 Today we make our way to the lovely Palace of Versailles built by the opulent Louise X1V, known as the ‘Sun King’. The Chateau and gardens are among the most illustrious of World Heritage Sites! Return to Chantilly for dinner.
Day 4 We depart after breakfast for our return journey stopping at the elegant seaside resort of Le Touquet for lunch to be obtained before continuing to Calais for the crossing to Dover arriving approx 8.00pm back in Chelmsford.

Your resort Chantilly, celebrated for cream, lace, horseracing, a forest and a romantic Renaissance Château built on two islands in the middle of a small lake.
This is first class superior hotel. Rooms are in the annex which is directly connected to the main building by a corridor, all are decorated in modern style. The restaurant on the ground floor serves delicious cuisine and the décor combines modern and traditional. Facilities include a beautifully decorated lounge, bar and all rooms have been recently refurbished with private bathrooms telephone and TV. The lobby is of medium size bright and featuring large windows overlooking the beautiful driveway of the hotel. The château formerly belonged to the famous Rothschild family. There is also a gym, sauna, indoor pool and 2 lifts.
