Eastbourne is a delightful destination and stands at the point where the rolling south downs meet the sea. It is East Sussex’s premier holiday resort and is just the place for a fun filled pre Christmas break on the run up to Christmas. The beautiful Esplanade lined with superb beaches and the promenade is flat and is ideal for a gentle stroll to blow away the cobwebs.
Day 1 We travel from you pick up point and make our way South stopping at Royal Tunbridge Wells, a spa town in Georgian times popular with royalty and the aristocracy. After lunch we continue our journey to Eastbourne, arriving mid afternoon in time for afternoon tea and later a sherry reception. There will be a three course evening meal followed by music entertainment and bingo.
Day 2 Christmas Eve Join us for a short excursion today arriving back in time for afternoon tea with Christmas cake. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Christmas Dinner with a visit from Father Christmas followed by music and dancing.
Day 3 Boxing Day Start the day with a Christmas Quiz at breakfast then join us for a short excursion, which the driver will decide on the day, returning back in time for afternoon tea in the Crumbles Suite. Enjoy a three course evening meal with music and fancy hat competition to follow.
Day 4 A free day at leisure in Eastbourne for you to enjoy the local facilities before enjoying afternoon tea and mince pies in the Crumbles. In the evening there will be a three – course meal followed by music and dancing.
Day 5 We bid farewell to our hosts and begin our journey homewards, stopping en-route for refreshments, and arriving in the Chelmsford area early evening.

This stunning sea front hotel just 500 yards for the pier and only a stone’s throw from the beach. The traditional Victorian Architecture frontage of this hotel makes the hotel look very inviting. The Dining room overlooks the veranda and is a lovely venue for breakfast to start the day. The Veranda bar is very comfortable for coffee and drinks either before or after dinner. All rooms en-suite and well appointed with TV tea/coffee facilities, a passenger lift serves most rooms.
